The ABC has received a record 51 nominations for this year's TV Week Logie Awards, which recognise and celebrate quality Australian television.

The nominations cover nearly all genres, from drama, children’s, lifestyle, factual, comedy and entertainment, to news and current affairs.

Heading the list is ABC presenter, Tony Armstrong, who's been nominated for the Gold Logie for the Most Popular Personality on Australian Television.

We encourage ABC Friends to have a look at the many nominations and consider voting for the programs and people you think worthy of recognition.

In a year that has seen much unfair criticism of the ABC, wouldn’t it be great for the ABC to get due recognition through the Logie Awards?
