You are invited to our AGM with special guest ABC News presenter and producer JEREMY FERNANDEZ.  Jeremy, who grew up in Perth,  currently presents the ABC News 7pm bulletin in NSW and often appears on ABC News 24. See the flyer for more information.

It has been a busy and exciting year:  ABC Friends have been working nationally, with volunteers and professional help,  campaigning for the ABC before and during the federal election campaign – and is still campaigning.  A national ‘umbrella’ organisation, to be known as ‘ABC Friends National Inc.’ is close to being established.  Come to the AGM and hear more.

The AGM will elect a new committee and office bearers.  We are seeking committee members to join us at this time when the very future of the ABC is under threat.  We need the active participation of members on the committee and on the ground, and importantly, we need more members.

Members of ABC Friends and anyone interested in the future of the ABC are very welcome at the meeting.
