Friends of the ABC (WA) incorporated has now officially changed its name to:-

ABC Friends (WA) Incorporated

A proposal to change the name was passed unanimously by a meeting of members at a Special General Meeting held on Sunday 22 June. The change was approved by the Commissioner for Consumer Protection, WA Dept. of Commerce, as from 28 July 2014. 

The name change is part of a strategy decided at the Friends of the ABC National Conference, held in Melbourne in February, to re-brand a group of independent state-based organizations into a nationally-focussed group, ABC Friends, and to share resources and information.

WA is the first state-based Friends to make the change formally.

With the new name, ABC Friends WA has adopted the national logo:
