  • News from Queensland

An ABC Friend was at the Brisbane Writers Festival recently and attended a session on books written about floods. Jamie Simmonds, who wrote a book on the Grantham flood in Qld, where people were killed and the town subsequently relocated, said the ABC was there throughout the disaster and the recovery and that it clearly cares about community.
