ABC CONFIRMS FACT-CHECK CLOSURE; QUIET ON SACKINGS

The ABC has, today, confirmed that, as a result of the $48m budget cut, the News Division Fact-Check Unit will close. They do not mention of reports that some specialist National Reporting Team jobs will also go. We are afraid there will be lots more bad news.
