TASMANIA CAMPAIGN EVENTS
The very active ABC Friends Tasmania branch is planning a series of events in the lead-up to the election, asking people in marginal seats to vote in support of any candidate promising to restore funding to the ABC.

the Northern Group of ABC Friends TAS are going to hold a forum in Launceston on Saturday 18 June at lunchtime, and are inviting about candidates from Bass, Lyons and Braddon to attend.
The forum will be preceded by a stall in the Launceston mall from 10.30 am where we will ensure people know about the forum, and will be able to sign our Vote to Support the ABC Pledge cards.
A similar forum is being planned for Hobart on Monday 27 – with details to follow.
