ABC Gardeners’ Market Adelaide

Twice a year, during spring and autumn, the ABC throws open its car park to hold The Gardener’s Market. This year gold coin entry was donated to Oz Harvest.

The market is very well supported by the community. There are all sorts of plants for sale, interesting food to eat, community groups represented, and ABC 891 broadcasts its Saturday morning  garden show direct from the car park to an appreciative and interactive audience. This year Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia was invited and there were lots of selfies being taken with him! His beard is as magnificent as it appears on TV!

The Friends of the ABC (SA/NT) held our regular stall too, explaining  who we are and what we do. There was terrific engagement with the public and many people signed up to receive membership details.

A great time was had by all.
