However, as schools rely on online teaching and families search for fresh ways to interest youngsters in home based activities, the importance of the public broadcaster has never been greater.
That’s why we need to remind our political leaders of their responsibility to properly fund the ABC for the additional work it must tackle in this time of national crisis.
