You might even feel inspired to join the thousands of others who have so far signed it.  It doesn't hurt to remind the government of the day concerning the importance to the Australian people of an appropriately funded independent public broadcaster.  Just as our justice (Courts), health (Hospitals), and critical infrastructure (e.g., roads) are government funded, so to we need a reliable source of information from a broadcaster we can trust.
