GUEST SPEAKER: Peter McCutcheon

Peter McCutcheon is a senior reporter with ABC TV’s 730 program. Based in Brisbane, he has been covering national and international issues for the program for more than 20 years. During that time he has also acted as Executive Producer for the ABC’s weekly rural TV current affairs program Landline and was the ABC’s Queensland political analyst during the last state election. Peter’s career with the ABC started in radio news in Sydney in 1985, and he has since worked in Darwin, Melbourne (as national industrial correspondent) and as the ABC’s North Asia correspondent in Tokyo during the Asian Economic Crisis in the late 1990s.
