A pulse on a heartrate monitor

It is also an opportunity to briefly update you on our activities, leading into the upcoming 2022 federal election, shining a light on the survival of the ABC and its vital role as the Public Broadcaster, so important to Australia's democracy and to media freedom.

Our planned targeted flyer-drop in February and March, delivering our messages to marginal seats was cut short when Senator Andrew Bragg, on the 15 February in Senate Estimates, questioned Managing Director David Anderson about the use of the ABC lissajous figure in our National and State Friends' logos.  Fortunately our digital ad campaign to be launched during April-May in and around prominent arterial road spots in Adelaide was not affected. As well as sending out a questionnaire to candidates in targeted SA seats about their support for the ABC, we are getting out and about meeting the announced federal candidates.

Please note the discussion starts at around the 13 minute mark so you may want to get a cup of tea or skip forward.  And yes saving our ABC is discussed and very positively supported.
