Podcast of the month: Global Roaming

Each month our newsletter will feature a favourite podcast. And what better way to start the year than with a shout-out for a great new program from the ABC: Global Roaming. It’s a “user's guide to what the world is talking about” examined through Australian eyes.

Podcast of the month

Two of Australia’s most respected journalists, Geraldine Doogue and Hamish McDonald, joined by expert guests, share their experience and knowledge to discuss global events.

Each 30 minute podcast covers a single topic.

The program airs on ABC RN each Saturday at 8.30am and is repeated at 6pm Monday and 5.30am Tuesday. It’s also available on the ABC listen app or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Keen podcasters can catch up on four episodes so far. The most recent episode asks “Is chaos the new world order?” with guest Gideon Rachman, Chief Foreign Affairs commentator at the Financial Times.

This little gem is well worth your listening time.
