Earlier this month, Daryl Regan, President ABC Friends SA/NT, gave a presentation to the Sturt ALP Federal Electorate Council. Daryl spoke about how ABC Friends represents community interests in defending and promoting the vital role of the ABC as a national public broadcaster.

The audience was particularly interested in the importance of the ABC as an independent public broadcaster after seeing concerning media coverage during the Referendum campaign. Questions were about the ABC’s 5 year plan and the future role of ABC digital communications.
