Welcome to the ACT & Region Branch of ABC Friends
Most members of our branch live in Canberra, but we also have a significant number of members in towns and rural areas near the ACT. We’ve undertaken activities along the south coast, and as far north as Yass, and welcome involvement from anyone in these districts.
Meetings
Our regular meetings are held from 6.00 to 7.30pm on the third Tuesday of every second month (odd numbered months) at Fellows Bar, University House, Balmain Crescent,Australian National University – see map below.
Members will be notified in advance of any changes to these meeting arrangements.
The branch also holds other events throughout the year, and has stalls at local markets to publicise ABC Friends and talk about the importance of the ABC. Let us know if you have any ideas for activities, or if members outside of Canberra would like us to arrange a meeting in your area.
